Paula.... what can I say?
What a fab. night, last night! -you performed at a Breast Cancer Awareness charity night at the Slug and Lettuce in Wilmslow.
Great voice, great show both as "Amy" and yourself.
I'm sure the team would not have raised the amount they did had the room not been absolutely rocking!
The second time I have seen you...you never disappoint.
Many thanks

Hi Paula, a week ago i returned from Sidari where i saw you twice in the Crossroads bar, 1st time the shy guy who wouldn't sing Valerie. May i say that your show was sensational. You are a cheeky, sassy young lady and you were the best tribute act of the fortnight!
Keep it Up!!!!

Hello Paula, so that's your real name!
Well, I saw you in Sidari, Corfu a couple of weeks ago (Sept 2011) and also in 2009. You might remember me, I am probably your oldest fan LOL! You are one of the best entertainers I have seen. I love your act and would love the chance to see you perform in the UK.
Keep up the excellent work hon, Amy herself would be extremely proud of you in the way you pay her such a stunning tribute.

Paula, OMG, I am so comforted knowing you are in the world paying tribute to Amy Winehouse this way.
I told my husband the other day I would love to see a tribute paid to Amy W. by someone who looks like her, and has her mannerisms, etc. and today I googled "Amy Winehouse tribute" and found your site and was so heartened! I am truly impressed!!! I look forward very much to hearing/seeing you in the very near future, hopefully at a gig in the West Midlands somewhere.
I love that you're doing this and it is soooo needed now. All the best!
Love and respects,
Lauren

I was running the sound at the 2010 Crastonbury, a miniature festival held in northumberland in August 2010. "Amy" and her band played and literally blew everyone away. They were the headline act and had a crowd of around 300 standing on tables and shouting "one more tune, one more tune" by the end. She and the OUTSTANDING band didnt just stick to the typical Winehouse jazz/ soul fusion thing and had the flexibility to drop impromptu party bombs mid set (think Michael Jackson and Billie Jean before the encore of Valerie- to say well recieved would be a huge understatement) along with bringing some proper solid reggae to the table.
This versatility was made possible by the band, known as the FME'z. In a word- tight. Excellent musicians. Played with soul and conviction, and also with totally positive vibes all round. They were totally cool with the informal style of event they came to headline, and were nothing short of helpful and professional in the setup (big help to me) and performance. Even with all their obvious talent there wasnt an ego to be seen, heard or even remotely massaged!! Good vibes. They are also a reggae outfit which helped them be so competent in the switch between styles.
"Amy" is class. She was totally sound to work with before and during the show. She was funny, entertaining and profesisonal. No diva antics. Smiled a lot. Chilled. Then, she got on stage and really performed. It was great. She is also a good singer.
I have no hesitation in advising anyone looking for a good time party band to play for any event with around 100- 2000 people to book them.
My only criticism is that they should clearly stop mucking about entertaining people like us doing covers and get some original records out!
Great tribute act, well worth going to see. I saw Amy for real at a festival a couple of years back, and I'll be honest, you're better!! keep up the good work :)
